CHRS for Faculty

The Common Human Resources System is a PeopleSoft upgrade that standardizes practices across the CSU campuses.  All academic employees will use CHRS.  Training and knowledge base articles with detailed instructions are located at IT Training & Support.  When logging in to self-service, a new Temporary Academic Employment (TAE) module is available for viewing and acknowledging temporary academic appointments for lecturers, librarians, student services professionals, and extension.  The TAE module is also used for additional employment of full-time faculty.  

There are new procedures for receiving appointment notices through the TAE module.  Additionally, faculty lecturer appointment processing for fall 2026 is on a delayed schedule.  See details about both changes in the following memo:
