uAchieve Degree Planner Project
uAchieve is Sonoma State’s new academic planning and advising ecosystem, bringing together the Graduation Planner, Degree Audit, and Schedule Builder in one connected experience.
uAchieve will provide a shared set of tools to support academic planning, advising, and degree progress. Faculty and professional advisors will use uAchieve to help students understand degree requirements, plan coursework, and prepare for registration, while students will use the same tools to review their progress, build and adjust academic plans, and create course schedules. By bringing these functions together, uAchieve will support a more consistent and connected approach to academic planning and advising across Sonoma State.

Rollout Timeline
June 1, 2026 — Advisor Pilot Begins
Early learning, testing, and advising feedback begin in the development environment.
October 14, 2026 — Advisor Full Access & Student Pilot Begins
Faculty and professional advisors receive production access, and student piloting begins.
January 21, 2027 — Student Awareness & Outreach Begins
Campus communications and resources begin preparing students for uAchieve.
March 1, 2027 — Student Full Access
uAchieve becomes available to continuing students.
April 1, 2027 — Student Use & Registration Support
Outreach, training, and support focus on helping students use uAchieve for academic planning and registration.
June 1, 2027 — New Student Summer Orientation
Incoming Fall 2027 students will be introduced to uAchieve as Sonoma State’s primary suite of academic planning and advising tools.
What to Expect
The uAchieve rollout will be an iterative and collaborative process. As access expands, faculty, advisors, students, and campus partners will have opportunities to use the tools, share feedback, identify questions, and help shape how uAchieve is incorporated into academic planning and advising at Sonoma State. Training, resources, communications, and workflows will continue to develop and improve as we learn what works best for the campus.
Our goal is to build a consistent and connected experience across advising, academic planning, registration, training, and communication. By learning and building as we go, we can create an approach that supports student success.
