Transfer Students at SSU

Welcome to Sonoma State! Transfer students are an important part of the campus community at SSU. Transfers bring a unique perspective and body of experience that uplifts our whole campus. We are proud to offer some of the highest transfer graduation rates in the entire CSU system. We also understand that being a transfer student brings with it a unique set of challenges and opportunities. To help you overcome the former and take advantage of the latter, SSU offers numerous resources, particularly focusing on academic success and timely progress towards graduation.

• Transfer Student Programs (TSP) provides resources and services to meet the unique needs of prospective, incoming and continuing transfer students. 
• There are many leadership opportunities available for transfer students to participate in, including the Tau Sigma National Honor Society. 
• Transfer students continuing their education at Sonoma State University are welcome to apply for on-campus housing; and have a variety of housing options available.
